Fauji Foundation Group was founded in 1954 as a charitable trust for the uplift of ex-servicemen of the Armed Forces and their dependents. Today, the Foundation is a multi-disciplinary welfare-cum-industrial entity, having operations across the country. In a brief span of time, it has made vital contributions not only to the prosperity of its beneficiaries but also to the consolidation of national economy. With its well-managed and profitable business concerns, the Group is an entirely self-supported entity operating in the private sector. The expenditures incurred on its diverse welfare activities are met through revenue generated from the Foundation??™s own industrial and commercial projects. No aid or funding is accepted from the federal and provincial governments.

Today, the trust and confidence that goes with the august name of Fauji Foundation is a living evidence of its dynamic services in a wide range of specialized fields like education, health, technical training and diverse commercial operations.

Fauji Foundation Group is a conglomerate of several industrial/commercial projects, which include fully owned as well as shareholding ventures in various areas. At Fauji Foundation, the thrust of every effort is on rendering maximum services to beneficiaries and the society at large. Eighty per cent of earnings are spent on welfare operations, and since inception, a massive sum of Rs 10.30 billion has been expended on welfare. Welfare budget for 2000-2001 alone is in excess of Rs. 1 billion. As the New Millennium dawns, the Foundation is poised to usher in a new era of progress and prosperity.

Fauji Foundation Group was established to achieve the broad objective of the welfare of ex-servicemen and their entitled dependents. Self-supported as it is, the Group generates financial resources by itself and meets all welfare expenditures through its own commercial/industrial projects. No aid or funding is accepted from the federal or provincial governments. The present beneficiary strength stands at 8.5 million, that is, approximately 7% of the country??™s total population. Besides assisting its beneficiaries, the services and operations of the Foundation yield additional benefits in the form of improvement in the country??™s economy, creation of skilled manpower, provision of better job opportunities, rehabilitation services and the empowerment of women.

The welfare operations of Fauji Foundation are subject to the following conditions:

The proceeds of the Group may be invested in industrial undertakings or be left at the discretion of the Committee of Administration.

Any income from the proceeds may be utilized for the collective benefit of the beneficiaries.

The Foundation shall not partake any development effort deemed to be the responsibility of the Government or else meant for the welfare of the general public.

No cash grants shall be extended to individuals.

Divorced/unmarried daughters of ex-servicemen till (re)-marriage.
